FAQ

Is business NBN the same as enterprise fibre?

No. Business NBN is delivered over the NBN access network and may use different access technologies. Enterprise fibre services are generally designed for business use and may provide symmetrical bandwidth, stronger service options and dedicated fibre infrastructure.

What does 1000/1000 Mbps mean?

It means the service is designed to provide up to 1000 Mbps download and 1000 Mbps upload. Actual performance and service commitments depend on the product and carrier.

Can Aluminate provide more than one carrier?

Yes. Aluminate can investigate services from multiple networks and design primary and backup connectivity using different carriers where available.

What is dark fibre?

Dark fibre is an unlit optical fibre path between two locations. The customer or provider supplies the equipment used to transmit data over the fibre.
