Country, community and connection

Grounded in Country. Built for connection.

Connection is more than infrastructure. It links people, communities, services, knowledge and opportunity.

Aluminate brings together an Aboriginal identity, local understanding and strong technical capability to deliver communications services that work in the real world—from metropolitan offices to regional operations and organisations working on Country.

We listen first, design carefully and explain the available choices clearly.

Designed, not commodity

More than business NBN

Your internet connection should be designed around how your business operates. A small office may need reliable business broadband with a static IP and mobile backup. A larger organisation may require symmetrical gigabit fibre, stronger service options, private site-to-site connectivity or diverse carrier paths.

Aluminate assesses your location, applications, availability requirements and budget before recommending the right service.

ETH

Enterprise Ethernet

Dedicated business-grade fibre with symmetrical upload and download. Suited to cloud applications, hosted systems, large file transfers, voice, video and organisations that cannot rely on ordinary broadband performance.

Services may be available from 100/100 Mbps through to 1000/1000 Mbps and multi-gigabit speeds, subject to location and carrier availability.

DIA

Dedicated fibre internet

High-capacity internet delivered over dedicated fibre infrastructure. We can source and design services from multiple wholesale carriers, comparing coverage, construction costs, service levels and contract options for your premises.

L2

Private Ethernet

Securely connect offices, warehouses, data centres and other business locations without carrying site-to-site traffic across the public internet.

  • Point-to-point Ethernet
  • Layer 2 private circuits
  • Multi-site networks & SD-WAN
  • Data-centre & cloud connectivity

DF

Dark fibre

Unlit optical fibre between two locations. You (or your provider) supply transmission equipment and determine capacity—suited to data-centre links, disaster recovery, storage replication and very high-bandwidth private networks.

Internet resilience and failover

One connection is not always enough. Design resilient connectivity with different carriers, technologies and paths—secondary fibre, business NBN, fixed wireless, 4G/5G backup and automatic failover through a managed firewall or router.

Designed with your network

Voice quality depends on the path underneath it. We design SIP and hosted PBX alongside bandwidth, QoS, static addressing and failover so calls stay up when it matters.

  • Business numbers and 13/1300/1800 where available
  • Auto attendants, time conditions and holiday routing
  • Remote users and multi-site systems
  • Ongoing management and security reviews

FAQ

Common questions

Is business NBN the same as enterprise fibre?

No. Business NBN is delivered over the NBN access network and may use different access technologies. Enterprise fibre services are generally designed for business use and may provide symmetrical bandwidth, stronger service options and dedicated fibre infrastructure.

What does 1000/1000 Mbps mean?

It means the service is designed to provide up to 1000 Mbps download and 1000 Mbps upload. Actual performance and service commitments depend on the product and carrier.

Can Aluminate provide more than one carrier?

Yes. Aluminate can investigate services from multiple networks and design primary and backup connectivity using different carriers where available.

What is dark fibre?

Dark fibre is an unlit optical fibre path between two locations. The customer or provider supplies the equipment used to transmit data over the fibre.

Can you connect multiple offices?

Yes. Options may include private Ethernet, SD-WAN, encrypted VPNs, data-centre connectivity and managed routing.

Can internet and phone services fail over together?

Yes, but continuity must be designed carefully. The solution may need backup internet, voice routing changes, alternate registration paths, power protection and testing.
